We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for the design, development and maintenance of in-house Java applications. Perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work collaboratively with team members on maintaining and expanding existing company products
• Implement, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Add new features and fix code defects in web applications according to guidelines
• Breaking new ground, researching and implementing innovative web techniques and features
• Problem-solving in all areas of web development

Job requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education
• 4+ years developing web applications
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL database technologies
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with GIT for version control
• Proven experience by presenting certain project(s) that have been personally accomplished.

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in architecting Java web applications
• Familiarity with Spring framework for API development or web applications will be a strong plus
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle will be a strong plus
